Linear AM-RPR Remote Proximity Reader Wireless Access Control

Linear’s AM-RPR remote proximity reader is a close range reader designed to operate with the AM3Plus, AE1000Plus, or AE2000Plus access control systems. Local radio reception is provided through the proximity reader to provide a means of controlled access. Users simply need to scan their access transmitter device within three inches of the remote proximity reader in order to trigger the lock release and gain entry. By limiting the AM-RPR to this extremely close range, Linear is eliminating misreads from readers within further distances. The short range ensures safety and allows only authorized personnel to safely enter.

The AM-RPR remote proximity reader easily installs by wall mounting using a single-gang plastic electrical box. While in use, status is displayed by two different colored lights. The red light indicates that the proximity receiver is being powered with DC power and the green light indicates access has been allowed. The remote proximity reader is a simple, easy to use device that offers secure access control.
