Linear AM-RRR Remote Radio Receiver Wireless Access Control

Linear’s AM-RRR remote radio receiver offers an extension of up to 500 ft signal radius of radio range or provides local radio reception to the AM3Plus, AE1000Plus, or AE2000Plus access control system. Choose from three types of antennas to provide strong signal to the paired system. A local whip antenna comes with the AM-RRR and attaches to the remote radio receiver’s built in connector. The directional and omni-directional antennas can be connected using an RG-59 cable. Choose the antenna that will provide the necessary range suited for your needs.

The remote radio receiver includes a radio range knob that can adjust the gain of the receiver. It allows a limit to be set regarding how far the receiver’s range will reach. Two lights are used to indicate the radio receiver’s current status. The red light indicates that the receiver is being powered with DC power and the green light indicates access has been allowed. A radio light illuminates when radio signal is being detected by the AM-RRR radio receiver.

Linear’s remote radio receiver is built for outdoor use. It is encased in a weatherproof enclosure that can be used either indoor or outdoor venues. The receiver is safely sealed in gaskets and wire strain relief seals to keep the device safe during any type of storm.
