The Cornell P-116 Emergency Panic Push Call Station is an important component to assist in the communication between staff members and patients at hospitals, infirmaries, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. The Cornell P-116 allows calls to be placed to the main nurse call station by pushing the red button on the face of the station. The switch of the P-116 can be set to be open or closed function, and it is rated at 15 amperes @ 125 volts AC.
The 4 ½ ”H x 2 ¾ ”W stainless steel satin finish faceplate can be surface mounted on a Wiremold 5748 or equal, or flush mounted on a standard outlet with a single gang ring. The Cornell P-116 requires power of 24 VDC, and the ideal environment is 50-120°F. The wiring required for the P-116 is a minimum of #22 AWG and maximum of #16 AWG. The field wiring terminations require screw clamps with a maximum of 16 gauge.
