The Cornell E-108A Push On/Twist Off is an important component of the Cornell 4000 Nurse Call System, which is ideal for hospitals, clinics, infirmaries, and other healthcare facilities. When the red 1 ½” mushroom style button is pressed, a call is placed to the system. The E-108A has a red LED indicator that consistently glows when a call is placed. Calls can be cancelled at the point of origin by twisting the button to the right, as indicated by the white arrows on the button.
The 4 ½ ”H x 2 ¾ ”W E-108A can be surface mounted on a Wiremold 5748, or flush mounted on a standard outlet box with a single gang ring. The ideal environment for the E-108A is 50-120°F, and the E-108A requires a power of 24 VDC. The requirement for wiring is a minimum of 22 AWG.
