The Cornell D-111 Duty Station is an important component to assist in the communication between staff members and patients at hospitals, infirmaries, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. The D-111 differentiates between emergency and normal calls. A normal call is indicated by a stable green LED light and a slow tone, but an emergency call has a flashing red LED light and a quick tone. The tone can be silenced by flipping the tone on/off switch on the D-111.
The 4 ½ ”H x 2 ¾ ”W stainless steel satin finish faceplate can be surface mounted on a Wiremold 5748 or equal, or flush mounted on a standard outlet with a single gang ring. The Cornell D-111 requires power of 24 VDC, and the ideal environment is 50-120°F. The wiring required for the D-111 is a minimum of #22 AWG and maximum of #16 AWG. The field wiring terminations require screw clamps with a maximum of 16 gauge.
