At BEC Integrated Solutions, we offer the Cornell B-111 Bed Station to aid in placing calls to the system’s annunciator panel. The Cornell B-111 is a jack that can connect the Cornell Bedside Station with a Cornell call cord. When a call is placed, a red LED indicator lights up. If the call cord is pulled or if the plug is accidentally removed, a call will be placed. Calls can be silenced at the point of origin by pressing the cancel button. In addition to the Cornell B-111, the Cornell Bedside Station can also be equipped with the B-113, which allows calls to be placed with the push of a button. The Cornell B-111 Bed Station is perfect for use in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other healthcare facilities to provide peace of mind for the patients.
The Cornell B-111 is constructed from stainless steel and finished in satin. A single gang ring outlet box or a single gang ring with a double ring box is required in order for the Cornell B-111 to be flush mounted. If surface mounting is desired instead, the Wiremold 5748 or equivalent is necessary. The ideal environment for the Cornell B-111 is between 50-120°F, and the wiring required is #22 AWG minimum. The Cornell B-111 also requires power of 24 VDC. The Cornell B-111 is an important component of the 4000 Nurse Call System.
