Description

The SF401KIRL pillow speaker provides call placement to the master station, as well as a built-in universal infrared remote control. This IR remote control may be programmed to control numerous brands of consumer-grade televisions, such as LG, Samsung, Magnavox, Toshiba, and many more. Programming instructions and codes are included with each SF401KIRL pillow speaker. The IR remote control is powered by user-replaceable AAA batteries.

When used in conjunction with the appropriate TekTone® pillow speaker modules, the pillow speakers also supply two-way, hands.

Push buttons are provided to call the nurse, plus TV power, channel selection up/down, Closed Captioning, mute, and two light controls. Buttons are also provided for volume up/down, last channel, sleep timer, and direct channel access.

Note that the SF401KIRL does not transmit audio from the television through the pillow speaker. If this function is required, hospital-grade televisions must be installed, and TekTone SF41ZKL pillow speakers must be used.
