Description

The SF42KLA Pillow Speaker is used with the Tek-CARE400 P5+ IR421P5 and IR422P5 patient stations with the PM422AP5 Pillow Speaker Module installed on them. The pillow speaker provides call placement and audio communication to the master station and offers remote control for hospital-grade TVs. The pillow speakers are programmed by default for Zenith Digital TVs; however, the pillow speakers can be reprogrammed to match the code set that is required by other hospital-grade TVs. When used in conjunction with the appropriate TekTone pillow speaker module (PM422AP5), the pillow speakers also supply two-way, hands-free communication with the master station, and automatic silencing of TV audio while the intercom is in use. Water, Pain, Toilet, and two light control buttons (typically ROOM and READ lights) can also work when the PM422AP5 is installed. Push buttons are provided to call the nurse, plus TV power, channel selection up/down, Closed Captioning, and mute.
