The TekTone IR311E Single Patient Station is a two-way, hands-free communication device used in healthcare facilities to provide a trusted means of communication between patients and staff. With patient priority capabilities and programmable privacy, the TekTone IR311E has numerous features making it a reliable means of communication. Call cord buttons or pillow speakers are used to communicate with staff using the TekTone IR311E. Once a call has been placed, an LED bulb will light up to show the call’s initiation. The pillow speaker not only allows calls to be placed, but it also includes controls for the television. The TekTone IR311E is to be used in conjunction with the TekTone NC300 nurse call system.

The TekTone IR311E Single Patient Station has a height of 4.5 inches, a width of 6.375 inches and a depth of 2.75 inches. The station projects only .5 inches above the surface that it is mounted to. Constructed with a flame resistant plastic cover and housed in Steel City #H3BD and #3GC plaster ring, the TekTone IR311E is built to last. The speaker size of 2.5 by 2.5 inches provides clear voice communication between staff and patients. The TekTone IR311E Single Patient Station and the TekTone IR312E Dual Patient Station are identical except the IR311E has only one pull cord or pillow speaker rather than two.
