How It Works

This system is an invisible barrier for elevator doors using a density-packed array of infrared (2-D) beams that sense items near the elevator door; however, the introduction of the 3-D technology provides enhanced detection areas extending into the landing zone. The 2-D and 3-D detection capabilities provide the means for the system to detect a person before arriving at the elevator door, which significantly reduces the number of door strikes and increases speed and efficiency for loading during peak traffic periods.
