Rath - Avire SMART-3DS-M-01-000 Smart 3D:Surface Mount, Muntz featuring a Muntz finish belongs to state-of-the-art models of smart elevator door safety systems. As the newest model of a surface-mounted 3D smart sensor, it has been engineered to meet all requirements of the safety code specified by ASME A17.1-2019. Offering one more level of passenger detection in the lobby, this model also features a premium Muntz (bronze colored) finish allowing to get the look you desire.

Functionality

Unlike ordinary infrared detectors, which often confuse passengers and objects, this sensor utilizes microwave radar technology. Using the 3D detection zone, it can detect passengers preparing to enter the elevator car. Being able to differentiate between passengers who intend to take an elevator and other people just passing by, it optimizes the operation time and saves elevator parts.
