Rath - Avire RP550-8055 Boss System Main Board Issue 2 is the primary processor for the BOSS Series (Battery Operated Siren System). The PCB is a control circuit designed to process, distribute power, and control emergency signal output in life-safety communications systems. The RP550-8055 Version 2 PCB uses improved logic circuits allowing for increased stability, faster processing speed, and improved connector interface compared to previous versions, ensuring that your emergency signal production system stays operational when you need it most.
Rath Avire – Cut SheetsThe RP550-8055 is the central command for the BOSS System coordinating all of the logic used through the power supply, battery backup, and SIREN output. In addition, other functions include; monitoring the condition of the connected battery system and how it is being charged, sending audible or visual alerts based on the inputs received from the system, and integrating the interface connections on a single board providing a common communication method between sensors and notification devices allowing for improved management of emergency communication systems and improved system diagnostics capability.
The RP550-8055 Main PCB can be found in large educational institutions (i.e., universities), as well as factories that would benefit from a reliable, battery-backup siren system for security lockdowns, severe weather alerts and fire evacuations. Due to the modular design of the RP550-8055 PCB, technicians replacing or upgrading parts of existing Rath Avire BOSS systems will also use the RP550-8055 Main PCB.
