The R5KDC06 provides the connection points for up to six(6) non-audio room stations and is typically located where acorridor light is not needed or desired. The domeless controller can be mounted in a wall cavity or ceiling outside ofthe resident room. Other corridor lights can be programmedto reflect calls placed on resident stations connected to thedomeless controller. With the addition of the Relay Outputmodule, the R5KDC06 can provide four (4) dry relay contact outputs to drive external devices.

The domeless controller will operate in a default fail-safemode if communication with the Main System Controller isinterrupted. It also contains a status LED visible to servicepersonnel to indicate the device status. The mounting plateaccommodates a variety of backboxes. The domelesscontroller is continuously supervised for both power anddata. A "Trouble" message will annunciate at the coveringconsole(s) if the controller is removed from the system orbecomes non-functional.
