The R5KDC016 provides the connection points for upto sixteen (16) non-audio room stations and is typicallylocated where a corridor light is not needed or desired.The domeless controller can be mounted in a wall cavity orceiling outside of the patient room. Other corridor lights canbe programmed to reflect calls placed on patient stationsconnected to the domeless controller.

The domeless controller will operate in a default fail-safemode if communication with the Main System Controller isinterrupted. It also contains a status LED visible to servicepersonnel to indicate the device status. The mounting plateaccommodates a variety of backboxes. The domelesscontroller is continuously supervised for both power anddata. A "Trouble" message will annunciate at the coveringconsole(s) if the controller is removed from the system orbecomes non-functional.
