The R4K4020 is typically located at a local nursing station,work station, centralized communications center, or any placewhere staff receives calls, communicates with staff or initiates anyResponder 4000 related features. The console may be desk orwall mounted with the wall mount opening in the console legs ora separate R4KWM11. 

The R4K4020 provides complete information concerningincoming calls including patient or staff member’s room location,bed (if applicable), call priority, and length of time the call hasbeen waiting. An operator may selectively answer any of three(3) calls displayed or scroll through a list using the keypadfor call selection. A call may be answered using the handset forsemi-private conversation or the Push-to-Talk key for ahands-free conversation.

The R4K4020 can be configured for up to twenty-four(24) functions including Setting/Review Service Requirements,Emergency Call Upgrade, Day/Night tones, Staff Follow,Sequential Room Monitor, Swinging Groups of Rooms, etc.These functions are activated using the scroll keypad and selectorbuttons. System functions are customized on an individual basisallowing each R4K4020 to be programmed for its specific locationand purpose. The R4K4020 is continually supervised for bothpower and signal.
