The R5KL2KA provides bi-directional data conversion toand from Responder 5000 K-Bus devices and the MainSystem Controller (MSC). One L2KA adaptor is requiredfor each L-Net port on the MSC (4 max per MSC). EachL2KA supports up to 46 K-Bus devices and their associatedroom stations. 

The R5KL2KA receives its power from the L-Net connectionso a separate power connection is not required. LEDs indicate the data status of the L-Net and K-Bus as well as overall device status. K-Bus devices can be added or removedwithout interrupting the operation of the L2KA.
