The R5KDC16D Audio Duty Domeless Controller providesthe connection points for five (5) non-audio room stationsand one (1) Audio Duty Station. The controller generatesthe same system tones for the Audio Duty Station as usedon the Nurse Console to indicate active calls. The dome-less controller can be mounted in a wall cavity or ceilingoutside of the resident room. Other corridor lights can beprogrammed to reflect calls placed on resident stationsconnected to the domeless controller. 

The domeless controller will operate in a default fail-safemode if communication with the Main System Controller isinterrupted. It also contains a status LED visible to servicepersonnel to indicate the device status. The mounting plateaccommodates a variety of backboxes. The domelesscontroller is continuously supervised for both power anddata. A "Trouble" message will annunciate at the coveringconsole(s) if the controller is removed from the system orbecomes non-functional.
