The R4K22A is a dual bed station that allows both patients and staff to place different call-in priorities, depending on their requirements, to the assigned console(s). The R4K22A can interface with call cords and entertainment speakers to initiate calls, provide entertainment control and allow intercom to the console over the station speaker. The R4K22A can also allow intercom to the console over the bed rails or entertainment speaker with the addition of an R4KFB1. The R4K22A is connected to its associated corridor light or domeless room controller and is continually supervised for station presence. Through programming, a “Trouble” message can annunciate at the associated console(s) when the station is removed from the system.
