    The R4KSR1 is a one-level Staff Registration station thatprovides the ability for staff to manually register into each patientroom or staff location. By pressing the touchpoint on the R4KSR1the associated corridor lamp will light solid to indicate that a staffmember is in the room. Through programming, a facility has theoption of having the Staff Registration station cancel calls placedfrom that room. Users may review the location of staff registered inrooms using an LCD Console or Annunciate Panel. When a call isplaced from a room that has staff already registered, the systemhas the capability of upgrading the priority of that call to indicatethe need for staff assistance. 

    The staff registration station is connected to its associatedcorridor light or domeless room controller and is continuallysupervised for station presence. Through programming, a“Trouble” message can annunciate at the associated console(s)when the station is removed from the system.
