The Responder® 4000 SLIM Pull Cord Station is anemergency pull cord station that provides the ability toplace a unique call-in priority from a single station by pullingon its plastic cord. The Pull-cord station is typically locatedin bathrooms near the toilet and in the shower. Themembrane Cancel button allows for the cancellation of the callat the station. The unit may utilize remote Cancel button(s) forease of nurse call cancel when pull cord is mounted in aninaccessible location (e.g. ceiling). To make the stationwater-resistant, the station perimeter is caulked on threesides with sealant. It also has water diversion openings thatrun along the bottom of the station for drainage.When used in conjunction with the Responder® 4000Speaker Module for audio communication, the station willnot be water-resistant.

The Pull Cord station is connected to its associatedcorridor light and is continually supervised for the station'spresence. Through programming, a “Trouble” message canannunciate at the associated console(s) when the station isremoved from the system.
