The Responder® 4000 SLIM Enhanced Single BedStation allows both patients and staff to place acall depending on their requirements to the assigned nurseconsole(s), annunciate panel(s), and or wireless devices.The Enhanced Single Bed Patient Station can interfacewith call cords, entertainment speakers, or specialty bedsto initiate calls, control lighting, provide entertainmentcontrol, and allow intercom to the console with the optionalResponder 4000 Speaker Module. When used with theNCES/NCDS Series Pillow Speakers, audio capabilitiesare transferred to the Pillow Speakers. When used with theResponder 4000 Feature Bed Interface module, the audiocapabilities are transferred to the bed rail with entertainment muting and the pillow speakers if used. The additionof the Responder 4000 Single Lighting Control Relay allowsfor full lighting control options through the buttons on thepillow speaker. 

The Enhanced Single Bed Patient Station is connected toits associated corridor lamp or domeless room controllerand is continually supervised for station presence. Throughprogramming, a “Trouble” message can annunciate at theassociated console(s) when the station is removed from thesystem.
