DESCRIPTION

The R5K R4KSLC1 provides total Pillow Speaker isolation for lighting relays (an auxiliary device that is non-UL1069 listed). The R4KSLC1 is associated with theR4K13VA Audio Enhanced Patient Station, R4K16LVSingle Enhanced Patient Station - Non Speech, R4K17VSingle Enhanced Patient Station, and R5KPS1EA AudioEnhanced Single Patient Station. The module provides apre-wired pigtails output (low-voltage) to interface with lighting relays on a controller to switch high-voltage lights.

An R4KSLC1 is required for all Pillow Speakers andCCDIN3 call cord with lighting control (remote device inter-face) except when the Pillow Speaker is only interfaced toa UL listed hospital-grade television and no other devices.This module is not used on the R5KPS1LCA which contains built-in lighting control.
