The R4KBK400 provides full power for up to ten (10) minutes(when fully charged) of full Responder 4000 operation in theevent of an AC power failure (during the transition to the facility’semergency backup generators). The R4KBK400 also provides fullpower during similar AC brown-out conditions. 

The R4KBK400 is a completely self-contained unit with anOn/Off switch and “Charging” status LED. One (1) R4KBK400is required for each R4KPR400 in a Responder 4000 networkdesigned for emergency battery backup.
