The R5K HSS433 is typically located in bathrooms near thetoilet and in the shower. It is specifically designed for nursecall systems used in high-security facilities such as psychiatric wards, correctional institutions, or wherever vandalismmay be encountered. When a resident or staff memberinitiates a call by pushing the momentary “Push for Help”button, a corridor light is illuminated and the call is registered at the Console(s). The call may be canceled at thebath/emergency station by pressing the “Cancel” button.With the use of the R5KDCRCS4 Output Relay Moduleand R5KDC46 Domeless Controller, the HSS433 can haveits calls visually annunciated on the CLS103 High-SecurityCorridor and Zone lights. 

 The HSS433 - R5K High-Security Push Button Stationis virtually indestructible. It is protected externally by an11-gauge brushed stainless steel faceplate. The Cancelswitch of the station is vandal-proof momentary pushbutton type. A rugged steel actuator activates a momentaryswitch whose movement is limited by a mechanical stop toprevent damage caused by attempted vandalism. The station is water-resistant so it may be used in a wet environment such as a bath or shower area. 

The pushbutton station is connected to its associated corridor light or domeless room controller and is continuallysupervised for station presence. Through programming,a “Trouble” message can annunciate at the associatedconsole(s) when the station is removed from the system.
