What It Does

This system is different from more typical “2D” light curtains as it operates in the elevator landing area. The 154-beam infrared curtain is mounted in line of the doors and the 3D detection sensor senses human or object motions approaching the elevator before getting close to the door level. The edges illuminate Green when doors are opening devices and Red when doors are closing to provide drivers with an easy-to-understand door signal to help minimize door strike and equipment damage.
