Rath - Avire PANACH3D Panachrome 3-D Unit w/P.S. & is the standard in threshold protection that uses infrared and proximity sensing to detect obstacles in the door and in the landing area. Unlike standard sensors, the PANACH3D provides a multi-dimensional safety net that can detect obstacles both in the doorway and in the vicinity of the elevator. What It Does

The PANACH3D doubles as a safety screen behind the doors of an elevator. It is composed of a dense curtain of 154 infrared beams that work in 2D to detect the passenger and a 3D proximity field can be projected into the hallway. It “sees” the person approaching the elevator before they reach the doors, triggering them to reopen the doors to prevent contact. The PANACH3D is equipped with a red and green LED light to indicate door status, red for opening and green for closing; these subtle cues help minimize door-strike accidents and equipment wear.
