Rath - Avire P40+3DSC P40 Plus 3-D S/C is a high-performance control module that acts as the “brain” of the entire P40 Plus 3D Light Curtain system. In addition, Rath’s Avire P40 Plus 3D Controller also is an intelligent hub allowing for two-way communication between the detection sensors of the light curtains and the operation hardware of the elevator. The controller provides a reliable and stable monitoring system for the door zones, thus ensuring safe and secure access for passengers. Additionally, the controller provides the highest level of accuracy for sensing technology implementation.

What it Does Actually?

The P40+3DSC is the brains behind the 3D detection system; it processes signals from the light curtains allowing it to differentiate between the opening and closing of doors and the presence of a passenger at the door. The controller manages the interface connection between the 3D detection system and the elevator’s hardware by sending an immediate signal to reverse the drive of the elevator’s door if a door pass-through obstruction falls within the 3D detection field prior to physical contact occurring. The device also ensures that the infrared beams emitted from the two light curtains and the 3D proximity sensors operate in unison with no delay ensuring maximum safety within high-volume elevator systems.
