Interoperable with certain AWID and HID 125-kHz proximity card formats, the P-500HA is designed to be mounted to a standard single-gang J-box, provides non-contact read ranges up to 8-inches (20cm), includes horizontal and vertical mounting slots, with electronics secured in tamper-resistant epoxy potting, and is supplied with both black and off-white covers. 

The H-Series are proximity readers, cards, and tags for access control. Making use of proven digital radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, the readers may be mounted directly to a metal door or window frame (mullions). Mounting is simplified with horizontal and vertical mounting slots, instead of simple holes, which allow the reader to be conveniently adjusted and leveled. 

To allow both indoor and outdoor operation, the electronics are secured in tamper-resistant epoxy potting. The readers ship with both black and off-white covers standard. The cover conceals the reader’s mounting hardware.
