The Model DXS-65 Supervised Emergency Alarm Transmitter is a water-proof transmitter meant for use in emergency situations. The transmitter is designed for use with Linear’s PERS Consoles and can also be utilized with other Linear DX or DXS format receivers. Featured on the transmitter is a large easily recognizable, bright red HELP button which, when pressed, will activate the transmitter to send a digitally coded wireless signal to its paired receiver. The transmitter button must be pressed for no less than 2 seconds to insure that a complete signal was sent. The transmitter can either be mounted on a wall or set on a table top with the different attachments that are included. Also included with the DXS-65 is an optional supervisory status timer which would send information on the condition of the transmitter and its batteries to the paired receiver. NOTE: Be sure to enable the status timer after replacing the transmitter’s batteries if it is required for the installation.

The DXS-65 transmitters are each equipped with two 2032 “coin-cell” batteries, are supervised for low battery, and send status reports every two hours. The digital DXS transmitters are pre-coded in the factory so that no field coding is required, and the DXS code format is equipped with more than a million possible codes.
