8-Channel Receiver Linear Solutions Wireless Supervised Security

The Model DXSR-1508 Supervised 8-Channel Receiver is a eight channel supervised digital receiver with solid state outputs designed for use with Linear’s DX and DXS Format transmitters. When a signal is detected from a transmitter with which the receiver is paired, the receiver will activate the correct channel. The Model DXSR-1508 combines a dual high-sensitivity superheterodyne diversity receiver with two whip antennas. Superior performance is delivered by this type of receiver because they stop loss of signal due to multi-path interference.

The DXSR-1508 receiver is usually connected to door strikes, cameras, alarm control panels, high current relay or on many other devices, and should always be installed indoors or under some type of metal free housing to protect it from weather elements. Transmitters are necessary in order to activate and control these devices. Thirty-two is the greatest amount of transmitters that can be programmed to each receiver, and each button on each of the transmitters sends a unique code to the receiver. The CHANNEL display shows the channels activated and the presence of radio activity. Individual indicators for ALARM, STATUS, and LOW BATT show the supervisory status of each receiver channel. The digital DXS transmitters are pre-coded in the factory so that no field coding is required, and the DX/DXS code format is equipped with more than a million possible codes.
