The Linear 2510-270 Control Board with Chip BGU is a specialized component designed for Linear's BGU series barrier gate operators, commonly used in traffic control and parking applications. This control board integrates with the gate's mechanical and electrical systems to manage operations such as opening, closing, and safety monitoring. 

Key Features:

• Auto Close Timer: Adjustable from 0 to 124 seconds, this feature allows the gate to close automatically after opening, provided no obstruction is detected. It can be enabled or disabled via dip switch #1.​
• Maximum Run Timer: A 270-degree adjustable potentiometer that limits the maximum duration the gate motor can run, preventing potential damage from prolonged operation.​
• Current Sensing for Obstruction Detection: Multi-turn potentiometers calibrate the sensitivity for detecting obstructions during both opening and closing cycles, enhancing safety by stopping or reversing the gate if an obstruction is sensed.​
• Master/Slave Configuration: Supports synchronization of two gate operators to function in tandem, useful for dual-lane entrances or exits. This setup requires a specific three-wire shielded conductor cable for connection.​
• Dip Switch Configurations: Eight dip switches allow customization of various functions, including auto-close timer, open/reset behavior, DC brake disablement, and master/slave settings.​
• Built-in MegaCode® Radio Receiver: Enables wireless activation from up to 40 access control transmitters and two Model MGT gate edge transmitters, facilitating remote operation.​
• Anti-Tailgate Function: When enabled, this feature prevents unauthorized vehicles from following closely behind an authorized vehicle to gain access, enhancing security.​
• Onboard LED Indicators: Provides visual feedback for various signals, such as open and close commands, aiding in diagnostics and troubleshooting.​
