Rath - Avire 2900-HC-R Host Controller- Refurbished is the SmartLoop™ Nurse Call System's reconditioned "brains" and central processing unit (CPU). It's a complex main control PCB module that coordinates the high-integration communication signaling, data distribution and power routing, and guarantees that all the devices—including a nurse console, a dome light and more—are running at peak performance. The 2900-HC-R is a Master Controller for the whole localized Nurse Call Network and has a few crucial functions:

• Centralized Logic Processing: give priority and route all events in the system, can also differentiate and prioritize between an emergency event and a maintenance event.
• Distributes/pushes data and DC power over network using power of 3 different RJ45 “SmartLoop™” Ports.
• System Supervision Module – health supervision of connected devices, any error registered will be sent to the SD card of the system and pings will be issued to and received from the system will be audited.
• Localised digital displays and localised navigation buttons: This involves user interface control to control the localised displays and localised navigation buttons, that the local technicians can use to configure and troubleshoot the local situation without relying on external applications.
