Rath - Avire 2100-SVE Smartview Ethernet Extenders is high speed Ethernet Extenders, to address the requirements of networking, built in to reach the distant elevator communication components. The two-way visual communication system will be called the SmartView – these would be expected to ensure delivery of high speed data and power via standard cabling infrastructure – no longer considered Ethernet distance.

The 2100-SVE offers a powerful solution with a "Main" (Injector) and "Remote" (Extender) unit design that is ideal for modernization and new installations as well. It will enable facility managers to implement a "whitelable" high-level emergency communication solution using video and alphanumeric messaging without a significant cost investment in high-quality networking cables to install throughout entire elevator shafts.

What It Does

The 2100-SVE system operates by transmitting regular Ethernet frames through its switches, and thereafter converting them to 2100-SVE frames for transmission over a single pair of wires into a final destination where the 2100-SVE frames are converted back to Ethernet frames.

• Distance Extension: 328-foot Ethernet is extended to 1,640 feet with Distance Extension.
• Power Delivery: The system is designed to deliver power supply to the SmartView Controller – in the elevator cab up to 1A from the audio system.
• Media Conversion: Converts the data to a signal using 2-wire to transport the data via the travel cable "LRP" meaning Long Range PoE.
• Emergency Data Transfer: Encryption communication between the system room and the elevator car is secured and stable with Systemgates so that the elevator car sends out data of an emergency, which is transmitted securely to the system room.
