The R5K CLS103 High–Security Corridor and Zone Light is designed to provide effective visual indications of calls originating from the bedside, emergency, staff, and other stations. It is intended to be used in facilities such as psychiatric hospitals, correctional institutions, or wherever vandalism is likely to occur. The CLS103 has three bulbs. The bulb color(s) may be changed using a colored filter. The lamp color is used to establish call answering priority for the Nursing Staff working in the area. The

CLS103 Light interface readily with Rauland Responder Nurse Call Systems using Relay Modules. The CLS103 Light is virtually indestructible. It is protected by an 11–gauge stainless steel faceplate with a mar-resistant brushed finish. The lens is formed of injection molded polycarbonate, the same material used for jet fighter cockpit canopies. The lens has a security collar which is secured from the rear of the mounting plate. Three lamp holders may be inserted into the lens, with any standard colored filter. Each bulb provides two leads for termination. The lamp socket is a standard T3–1/4 bayonet base supplied with a 14 volt, 200 mA bulb. Lamp colors are established by a colored filter so that only one common replacement bulb is required. Tamper-proof mounting hardware is provided to mount the CLS103 Light to the recommend single–gang backbox.
