The Responder® 4000 SLIM Enhanced Single Bed Station allows both patients and staff to place a call depending on their requirements to the assigned nurse console(s), annunciate panel(s), and or wireless devices. The Enhanced Single Bed Patient Station can interface with call cords, entertainment speakers, or specialty beds to initiate calls, control lighting, provide entertainment control, and allow intercom to the console with the optional Responder 4000 Speaker Module. When used with the NCES/NCDS Series Pillow Speakers, audio capabilities are transferred to the Pillow Speakers. When used with the Responder 4000 Feature Bed Interface module, the audio capabilities are transferred to the bed rail with entertainment muting and the pillow speakers if used. The addition of the Responder 4000 Single Lighting Control Relay allows for full lighting control options through the buttons on the pillow speaker. 

The Enhanced Single Bed Patient Station is connected to its associated corridor lamp or domeless room controller and is continually supervised for station presence. Through programming, a “Trouble” message can annunciate at the associated console(s) when the station is removed from the system.
