The R4K16LV – Single Enhanced Patient Station – Non-Speech is a single bed station typically used in a visual system. The station allows patients to place call-ins to the assigned Console(s). The bed stations can interface with call cords and entertainment speakers to initiate calls and provide entertainment control. With built-in lighting controls, the ability to control one room light on the entertainment speakers is available. To control additional lights, an R4KSLC1 would have to be added. The bedside station is connected to its associated corridor light or domeless room controller and is continually supervised for station presence. Through programming, a “Trouble” message can annunciate at the associated console(s) when the station is removed from the system.
