The R5K R4KDLC2 provides a total Pillow Speaker isolation for lighting relays (an auxiliary device that is non-UL 1069 listed). The R4KDLC2 is associated with the R4K23VA Dual Audio Enhanced Bed Station, R4K25LV Dual Enhanced Patient Station - Non Speech, and R5KP- D2EA Audio Enhanced Dual Patient Station. The module provides two pre-wired pigtails outputs (low-voltage) to interface with lighting relays on a controller to switch high- voltage on lights.

An R4KDLC2 is required for all Pillow Speakers or CCDIN3 call cord with lighting control (remote device interface) except when the Pillow Speaker is only interfaced to a UL listed hospital-grade television and no other devices.
