The R4KBK400 provides full power for up to ten (10) minutes (when fully charged) of full Responder 4000 operation in the event of an AC power failure (during the transition to the facility’s emergency backup generators). The R4KBK400 also provides full power during similar AC brown-out conditions. 

The R4KBK400 is a completely self-contained unit with an On/Off switch and “Charging” status LED. One (1) R4KBK400 is required for each R4KPR400 in a Responder 4000 network designed for emergency battery backup.
